Oven Roasted Broccoli

This Oven Roasted Broccoli with garlic-infused olive oil is perfectly caramelized, then topped with a generous sprinkling of Romano cheese.

Ingredients
 

  • 2 pounds broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons grated Romano cheese, or Parmesan
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Add the olive oil, garlic, salt and ground black pepper to a small mixing bowl. Whisk until combined.
  • Add the broccoli florets to a baking sheet.
  • Pour the olive oil mixture over the broccoli and toss to combine, making sure each piece is coated.
  • Bake for 15-17 minutes or until the broccoli is cooked through and slightly charred.
  • Top with the grated cheese and the (optional) red pepper flakes, then serve.
