If you are using fresh whole spices, grind each one separately in a coffee grinder until you have a fine powder.
If you are using ready ground spices, take 3 teaspoons ground ginger, 2 teaspoon ground cloves, 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon and 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
Shake thoroughly before each use.
