Blackberry Chia Seed Jam

Blackberry Chia Seed Jam is quick and easy to make in under 15 minutes. This recipe uses a handful of low carb ingredients that are healthier than store-bought.

  • Add the blackberries, honey and lemon juice to a saucepan over medium low heat.
  • Simmer for 5-6 minutes, stirring often. Use the back of your fork or a potato masher to help the blackberries break down as they simmer.
  • Turn off the heat, then stir in chia seeds and vanilla extract.
  • Let it sit for 20 minutes at room temperature, then chill in the fridge. It will thicken as it cools.
  • If you don’t like the chunky texture, you can puree half of all of the jam in a food processor.
