🔪 How to Make Low Carb Frozen Yogurt
Pour the berries into a high powered blender or food processor.

Add in the Greek yogurt, sweetener and lemon juice.

Blend until combined and smooth.

Pour into a freezer safe container.

Freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Once it reaches your desired texture, it’s ready to serve.

💡 Tips
- Using a high powered blender will help break down all the berries quicker, but you can also use a food processor if you’d like. Just blend until everything is well combined.
- Allulose is the sweetener that I use in this recipe, because it allows the frozen yogurt to be more scoop able, since it doesn’t crystalize when it freezes, like other sweeteners do.
- If you’re in a hurry to enjoy some, you can put one serving in a smaller freezer safe container and it will be ready sooner than the container with the entire batch.

☑️ Storage Instructions
Store leftovers in the freezer for several months in the same container.

🔄 Substitutions and Additions
- You can make this same recipe using just one or any combination of berries that you like, as opposed to the mix that I used of 4 types. Just be sure to use frozen berries and the same amounts.
- As I explained earlier, allulose is used to prevent the frozen yogurt from become so rock hard it’s impossible to scoop. But if you can’t find allulose, you can use monk fruit or even erythritol. Just be aware that erythritol will crystalize, so you’ll have to take it out of the freezer at least 15-20 minutes before serving.
- If you don’t have lemons, you can use fresh lime juice instead.
- If you can’t find Greek yogurt, you can use regular plain yogurt, just try to drain off some of the liquid whey for at least 2 hours before preparing the frozen yogurt. This will give you a nice thick consistency like Greek yogurt has. A cheesecloth works just fine for this.

Is frozen berry yogurt healthy?
Absolutely! Not only is it loaded with protein, it contains no added or refined sugar and it’s low in carbs.
Can I eat frozen yogurt when trying to lose weight?
Yes, since it’s so low in carbs, it’s perfect to enjoy while trying to lose weight.
What fruits cannot be mixed with yogurt?
It’s best to stick with berries, if you’re trying to keep the carbs low. Citrus is something that don’t mix well with yogurt, as they are very acidic and can cause the yogurt to curdle.
